Rishi is a towering four-armed naga, green and purple, who first meets Carl's crew as a dented-armored representative of the Blood Sultanate, the faction they are tasked with destroying. Outwardly civil, he insists he is no royal himself, only married into the ruling family's orbit, and he vows to serve whoever might seize the throne. In This Inevitable Ruin his loyalties prove far more ambitious: he engineers a naga uprising against King Rust, claiming the title Sultan Rishi the Usurper, First of His Name, even as his secret wife Princess Vinata dies having refused his warning to flee. Captured and stripped of his arms, he offers Carl a political bargain on Earth's behalf, only to have it rejected and to be marked for death.
Description
Rishi is a large male naga, his legless, serpentine body coiled on the ground. Green and purple coloring marks his form, while four arms distinguish his powerful silhouette. Dented plate armor covers his chest, lending him a worn, battle-ready presence. Rishi is a large naga, his long serpentine body marked in vivid green and purple. His upper torso is powerfully muscled and covered in armor, while he has no arms. He carries himself with an unusual serenity, still and composed even within the prismatic shimmer of a containment field.
