Princess Formidable, third daughter of King Rust of the Skull Empire, begins as a shadowy sponsor whose gifts to Katia Grimmsdottir hint at a deadly family feud with her brother, the Maestro. Stubborn and superstitious like her mother, she steps into the open as a political agitator, urging the council to activate the system failsafe over the objections of Prime Minister Glory and accusations that she seeks to depose her own family. In This Inevitable Ruin she openly defies her father, commandeers a cruiser, tries to seize a monitor station and even attempts to kill Carl, unaware that he knows the failsafe will never work. Though her gambit falters and her brother Stalwart takes the throne after Rust's death, Formidable remains a dangerous wildcard in the fractured empire.
Description
Princess Formidable is seen in a cruiser cockpit wearing a communicator, her standing height enough that she bumps her head on the ceiling. She faces a view of hundreds of ships in orbit, giving her a focused, watchful presence. The text does not specify her face, skin, hair, eyes, build, age, or other clothing, so those details should remain open. Princess Formidable is a large, muscular female orc with piggy eyes and pig-like nostrils, giving her face a blunt, striking character. Her black-and-orange spacesuit is melded to her body, and a weapon is mounted on her arm with a distinct blue glow. Her exact skin tone, hair, and other facial details are not specified; she carries herself with a forceful, unyielding presence.
