Linus is a tall, long-limbed soother whose form never seems entirely present, and whose devotion to Elle announces itself through a provocative T-shirt and a massive, poorly drawn tattoo of her face. He lingers around her circle, at one point calling out that Creedence Clearwater Revival was her late husband’s favorite band. Identified as “Linus. Tourist.” rather than appearing on the minimap, he remains a conspicuous, eccentric presence at the edges of the group. His fan’s earnestness is difficult to separate from the unsettling oddity of his appearance.

Description

Linus is tall and skinny, with long limbs and a form that seems not quite fully there. One index finger is divided into three segments, a detail that deepens his alien strangeness. He wears a T-shirt printed with a nude image of Elle and the words “Stay Frosty, Boys,” along with a fanny pack. A huge, poorly drawn portrait of Elle is tattooed on his narrow arm, making his fan devotion impossible to miss.
