An obscure NPC god of light, Khepri is associated with rebirth, sunrise, and beetles, and cannot be sponsored. His temple’s endless feast of insects is also the site of a disturbing rite practiced by his female worshipers. Though his worship and alliances are unusual, he grants skills connected to travel and welcome, revealing a deity whose promises of return and home come wrapped in unsettling imagery.

Description

Khepri’s most distinctive feature is his beetle-like head, an insect visage paired with wings in depictions of the god. Golden fringe trims his robes, catching the light and framing his ceremonial silhouette. The text supplies no precise body shape, height, eye color, or other facial details, so his visual presence rests on the contrast between luminous vestments and unmistakably insectile features.
