Jola, also called Jolas and the Yule Cat, is a mythic Icelandic creature represented as a totem in Donut’s deck. He is formidable so long as no children are nearby, but a snare cripples him and a hob-lobber blows away half his face before his limited timer runs out. Afterward, he remains a card in Donut’s deck rather than a continuing physical presence.

Description

Jola is a house-sized Persian cat, fat and covered in dirty-brown, shaggy hair. A giant candle is melted onto the top of his head, making his silhouette as bizarre as it is imposing. He carries the heavy, mythic presence of an enormous Yule Cat; the text also associates his totem form with a short timer.
