Herot emerges in fleeting mention as a previous crawler whose grim tales of tall bellowing creatures warned those who followed into the dungeon's maw. Spoken of only once, he embodies the forgotten voices of the crawl—survivors whose stories shape the path for newcomers like Carl. In the vast tapestry of the Butcher's Masquerade, Herot stands as a spectral echo, his brief legacy underscoring the relentless grind of those who came before.
Description
Herot cuts a lean, weathered figure, his pale skin etched with faint scars from unseen battles and dusted with the grime of deep dungeon delves. Short, tousled dark hair streaked with premature gray frames a sharp angular face, where hazel eyes burn with a haunted intensity beneath furrowed brows and a stubbled jaw. He wears tattered leather armor, patched crudely with scraps of alien hides, over a sturdy frame honed by survival, paired with mud-caked heavy boots and a scarred longsword slung at his hip. His presence is tense and watchful, shoulders hunched as if always listening for distant roars, exuding the quiet grit of one who's stared into the abyss.
