Grull appears as a bullheaded centaur god whose sole purpose is to stand as an imposing obstacle within the dungeon's molten depths. He confronts intruders while standing in pools of molten metal, swinging his enormous axe with devastating force. His brief but memorable role emphasizes the escalating scale of threats that define the later stages of the crawl. As a minor antagonist, he embodies the raw, elemental dangers that test any crawler who reaches his domain.

Description

Grull possesses the lower body of a powerful centaur and the head of a bull, complete with prominent horns and a fierce, bestial visage. His build is enormous and heavily muscled, conveying godlike strength and presence. He wields an enormous axe suited to his size, and his form is typically seen amid glowing molten metal that reflects across his hide. The overall impression is one of primal, heat-wreathed menace.
