Doctor El is a funeral bell guard, a mushroom creature whose earthy smell makes him immediately distinctive. Donut gives him his name, and Carl hands him a missile launcher. Though his appearance is only briefly noted, he stands out as one of the crawl’s odd, memorable figures.
