Doctor Bones is a Level-90 Skin Skellie Bard who first appears as the soft-spoken skeletal announcer and DJ of Carl's club, bringing a blend of military charm and supernatural menace to the crew. After the loss of his former patron Astrid, he becomes one of Carl's mercenaries, training in the mercenary arcade and declaring Carl his new patron. His Super Spreader spell, which infects other mercenaries with slug disease, makes him as dangerous as he is polished. By This Inevitable Ruin he has settled into the role of a steady companion, wielding a crossbow through the castle defense and revealing a focused, capable seriousness beneath his showman's oddball charm.

Description

Doctor Bones is a skeletal male figure, his skull and bones forming the unmistakable outline of a talking skeleton. His soft-spoken manner lends him a composed, almost courteous presence despite the macabre form. No specific clothing, accessories, coloring, or additional facial details are provided. Doctor Bones has a skeletal humanoid frame, with a bare skull and exposed bones rather than flesh. He carries a crossbow, an object that gives his spare, bone-white silhouette a practical edge. His presence is equal parts macabre and wryly theatrical, like a performer who never quite left the stage. No other consistent clothing or physical details are specified.
