Cletus appears only in a passing comparison, invoked as an idiot Labrador who would blunder into a skunk’s spray. The brief mention gives him no larger role or further history, but leaves behind the image of a lovable, heedless dog.
Description
Cletus is identified as a Labrador, but his coat color, build, age, and particular markings are not described. His appearance should therefore remain that of an unspecified Labrador, without invented accessories or distinctive features. The impression attached to him is friendly and hapless, rather than imposing.
