The Desolate Wilds is a vast forest stretching beyond Sacred Valley, first glimpsed as an ocean of green where giant sacred beasts prowl beyond the valley's protective boundaries. When Lindon ventures into it in earnest, the Wilds reveal a darker nature: a blighted woodland of blackened trees, diseased wildlife, and hard-packed earth beneath a smothering canopy. By Blackflame it has become the stage for the Five Factions Alliance and the contest over the Transcendent Ruins, transforming from a distant, mythic wilderness into a dangerous proving ground for Lindon's growth.
