Suriel, the Phoenix and Sixth Judge of the Abidan Court, enters Cradle as a cosmic arbiter and the Abidan's greatest healer, descending on Sacred Valley to arrest the rogue Li Markuth and undo the devastation he caused. In doing so she resurrects the Unsouled Wei Shi Lindon, shows him visions of his fate and of Yerin, and leaves him a token: a marble holding a blue flame that becomes the guiding promise of his journey. Once a pale, scrawny mortal remade into a perfect immortal, she appears across the series less as a constant presence than as a distant, luminous symbol of the heights Lindon strives toward. By the time he reaches Underlord, she remains the Judge who saved his life and the measure of the world beyond Cradle.
Description
A woman with long hair toned to deep jade and large purple eyes altered to a roughly natural shape. Transparent gray ghostlines run from the back of her head down her right arm to her fingers. She wears seamless white liquid armor covering her from neck to toes. Suriel possesses a flawless, statuesque body with ivory skin and sunlit emerald hair. Her most striking feature is her large violet eyes, etched with vivid runes of Fate that glow against her pale complexion. She wears smooth, absolutely white Abidan armor that appears to have been poured into place rather than fastened. A meter-long rectangular shaft of blue metal—the Razor—is clipped to her hip. Correlation lines like smoke trail from the fingertips of her left hand up to the back of her neck, marking her as something beyond mortal. Suriel has bright shining green hair that drifts behind her and eyes that blaze with purple formations capable of seeing Fate. She wears seamless white armor with a mantle that blazes behind her like a river of light, and carries Suriel's Razor—a meter-long ruler of blue steel—at her hip. Her presence radiates the power and authority of a Judge of the Abidan Court.
