Ozriel, known as the Reaper and the celestial executioner, begins the series as little more than a name: the missing Judge of the Abidan, whose absence hangs over the cosmic order beyond Cradle. By Blackflame he takes visible form as a figure clad in polished black armor and bearing the Mantle of Ozriel. With streaming white hair and an obsidian scythe, he carries the cold, distant air of someone who has watched fate unfold across eons. His growing presence hints that the fate of worlds, Cradle among them, may turn on the choices of this vanished executioner.

Description

A grim-faced man in polished black armor with the Mantle of Ozriel streaming behind him like a cape of boiling shadow. His white hair runs down his back in stark contrast to his dark armor, and he carries a long, curved obsidian scythe with a blade like black glass. His expression carries the weight of terrible knowledge, cold and distant as if bracing for news no one should have to bear.
