Northstrider first surfaces in Cradle as a fleeting, mythic figure, glimpsed sinking through dark water with a dragon's fang clutched in his grip, his eyes glowing with power far beyond anything the Sacred Valley can comprehend. By the time of Uncrowned, the legend takes on a fuller and stranger shape: a towering, sun-browned Monarch with wild hair, golden slitted eyes, and black scales running down his hands and forearms. His draconic features hint at the transformations his relentless pursuit of power has carved into his body. He dresses in ragged, scavenged clothes, the picture of a being who cares nothing for appearances and everything for strength.
Description
Northstrider is presented as a mass of muscle, his body sinking through water with arms folded in a posture of controlled calm. His golden eyes glow against the muted, dreamlike surroundings. Pitch-black scales cover his hands like gloves, lending his already formidable silhouette a distinctly inhuman edge. His face, hair, and other clothing are not described. A tall powerfully built man with sun-browned skin, long wild hair spilling down his back, and an unshaven face. His golden vertically slitted eyes and black scales covering his hands and forearms give him a draconic appearance. He wears ragged mismatched clothing including a rope belt and wrapped cloths as a shirt that looks scavenged from beggars.
