Gender: male
First appears: Book 3 · Ch. 21
Books: 2

Bai Rou emerges in Blackflame as a physically imposing Skysworn whose emerald cloud construct and watchful yellow eyes mark him as a formidable sacred artist operating at the edges of the narrative. By Underlord, his presence has solidified into that of a constant, vigilant sentinel whose strength and reliability are never questioned, even as he remains largely in the background. Across these books, Bai Rou evolves from a mysterious supporting figure into a trusted subordinate whose watchful nature and professional competence make him an integral, if understated, part of the Skysworn hierarchy.

Description

A large man of great bulk shrouded in a huge heavy coat covering from shoulders to toes. Yellow eyes shine from within shadows over his face as his Goldsign. He wears a broad bamboo hat, with his voice coming from the shadow beneath it. He flies on an emerald green Thousand-Mile Cloud. He is a huge man whose yellow eyes burn in shadows beneath a wide-brimmed straw hat. His massive build dominates whatever space he occupies, and the hat casts his face in perpetual shade except for those glowing eyes.
