Sergey is a Russian man with some medical knowledge, and his own body is often a source of hardship: pain, slow-healing wounds, and a stubborn bout of illness mark his experience. In the garden he carefully sows fast-growing grass among the stones, a small, deliberate act of tending. He is shaken by Sakanisi-san’s suicide, and his final gesture—placing a trembling letter into a mailbox in the freezing air—carries the weight of grief and compassion. His soft cheeks and missing tooth remain a grounding, unmistakably human part of him.
Description
Sergey is a Russian man distinguished by full, soft cheeks and a tooth knocked out in an old fight. His height, build, hair, eye color, and precise complexion are not described, so they should not be fixed without further source material. His appearance is often presented through physical discomfort—pain, a cold, or slow-healing injuries—and he has a vulnerable, tired presence. No particular clothing style or accessories are established.
