Brutus is not a developed participant in the collection but a historical reference invoked through the familiar image of the conspirator. He appears as a conventional subject for wall-newspaper jokes and in Korneev’s use of the words “Et tu, Brute?” His presence works as a compact cultural symbol rather than a character with an arc or relationships dramatized here.
Description
The text offers no concrete description of Brutus’s appearance. He is alluded to through the classical image of a Roman conspirator, but gives no reliable details of his face, build, hair, eyes, or clothing.
