Berezhin appears across multiple contexts as an elderly man with a distinctive bronze Eskimo-like face and stocky build, progressing from civilian attire to military uniform with four diamonds insignia. His role as a member of the NKVD collegium places him in positions of significant institutional authority, signing papers and managing sensitive documents.
Description
Elderly man with a distinctive bronze Eskimo-like face and stocky, dense heavy build. His expression is characteristically impenetrable, revealing nothing of his thoughts. He wears either well-fitted dark blue civilian suits or military uniforms bearing four diamonds in the tunic buttonholes, carrying himself with the solid presence of someone accustomed to institutional power.
