Dorothy is named in a description of a young girl traveling through a magical land with companions. She holds Toto, grows tired from walking, rides on the Lion’s back, eats peaches and plums, and sits in the middle of a raft. These details belong to a separate story world and do not establish her role in Through the Looking-Glass itself.
