Alice Liddell is mentioned as Lewis Carroll’s particular pet child and as the inspiration for Alice in Wonderland. The book does not develop her as a character or describe what became of her, so she remains a brief real-world reference rather than part of the dream’s action.
Description
The text identifies Alice Liddell as a child but gives no concrete details of her appearance. Her height, build, coloring, hair, eyes, facial features, clothing, and distinguishing marks are unspecified. Avoid treating the fictional Alice’s familiar appearance as a description of the real Alice Liddell.
