Rhysand's night magic is the dark, star-flecked power of the High Lord of the Night Court, manifesting as living darkness that ripples from him like a cloak, swirls into black clouds, and reaches into minds with invisible claws. In A Court of Thorns and Roses it is shown mostly as a menacing weapon, used to crush minds and tied to his violet, star-bright eyes and the talons and darkness of his true form. By A Court of Mist and Fury it reads less as raw menace and more as a signature presence: shadow that spreads like ink in water, arrives with cracks of thunder, chills the air, and dissolves like smoke on the wind as Rhysand winnows across Prythian. The shift tracks Feyre's own changing view of him, from fearsome enemy to ally.
