In a snow-choked forest, starving huntress Feyre kills a massive faerie wolf with an ash arrow, not knowing it is Andras, a sentry sent by Tamlin. She claims both the doe and wolf pelt, unknowingly triggering the Treaty that demands a life for a life.
Outcome
Feyre is claimed by Tamlin as payment for Andras's death, beginning her journey to Prythian and setting the curse-breaking plot in motion.
