The Attor is a skeletal, bat-winged servant of cruelty who first appears Under the Mountain as one of Amarantha's most vicious enforcers, a leathery, fork-tongued horror with a slithering gait. In A Court of Mist and Fury it resurfaces as an agent of the King of Hybern: it tries to abduct Feyre, survives interrogation by the Night Court, and is released by Rhysand as a warning to its master. It later leads the brutal assault on Velaris and gloats over the murder of the golden queen, until Feyre hunts it down and kills it, avenging Rhys, Clare Beddor, herself, and the city.

Description

A tall skeletal gray creature with bat ears and giant membranous wings tucked behind its body. Its snout reveals rows of razor-sharp fangs, and a forked tongue darts out between its teeth. Leathery skin covers its thin frame, a long slender tail slashes the floor, and clawed feet produce a slithering gait as it moves. A winged creature with spindly, hard arms and slicing nails. Its wings bleed silvery blood when pierced; its eyes glow with hatred. It has a rasping voice, hissing laughter, and a foul stench.
