Alis is a faerie servant of the Spring Court who first appears behind a brass bird mask as Feyre's brusque but caring attendant in Tamlin's manor, offering practical help and cryptic guidance while the curse binds the household. Once Amarantha's curse is broken, her true appearance is revealed: tree-bark skin, dark eyes and long, spindly fingers. In A Court of Mist and Fury she remains Feyre's caretaker, her blunt concern deepened into genuine warmth and loyalty, since Feyre's earlier kindness to Alis and her boys has earned her lasting gratitude.

Description

A rotund, fair and plump woman with brown hair and hard brown eyes, wearing a simple brass bird mask. She dresses in a crisp white apron over a homespun brown dress, with thin fingers suited to brushing hair or handling dishes. Her appearance is that of an ordinary High Fae servant, sturdy and domestic. A female faerie with brown, tree-bark-textured skin, dark eyes, and long, spindly fingers. Her hands are also described as slender and strong.
